I'm a level 69 Hunter, and with my "Spear of Life", I can insert I parasite into any female avatar by penetrating them in a specific part of their body with my Spear of Life.
After that, they will be negatively affected in their stamina, strength, speed, agility and endurace. It starts off with a -0.05 on affected attributes up to -15. The lower abdomen also swells up slowly until the last phase of the effect.
The last phase of the effect is when it ends. The parasite exits from the 'victim'. The parasite's features can depend on who inserted it and who hosted it. The parasite also inherits the abilities of the host the two.
From there on, the 'victim' may choose to burden herself for several years to take advantage of when the parasite becomes larger and more able to work for income, or discard the small parasite.
The effect, From insertion(Phase 1) to Phase 3 lasts for 9 months.
